Founding Designer

Company: Count is a canvas-based BI tool combining aspects of Jupyter, Tableau, and Miro, aiming to revolutionize how data teams work and collaborate. We are focused on building an intuitive and powerful platform for business improvement.

Role: We're seeking a Founding Designer to join our Marketing & Growth team and play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience and visual identity of the Count product.

Responsibilities:
*   Lead the design process from concept to execution for new features and improvements within the Count canvas and overall platform.
*   Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
*   Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs.
*   Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency.
*   Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and marketing teams to ensure designs are feasible and align with business goals.
*   Champion user-centered design principles throughout the company.

Technical Skills Required:
*   Proven experience as a Product Designer, UI/UX Designer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing work on complex web applications.
*   Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
*   Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
*   Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs.
*   Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their implications for design.

You possess excellent visual design skills, a deep understanding of user experience principles, and strong communication abilities.
