About This Role: As a Software Development Manager on the Commerce team, you’ll lead a talented group of engineers in building and scaling the next generation of Coveo’s commerce solutions. You’ll guide our teams to integrate our technology seamlessly into enterprise-level retailers’ storefronts, enabling AI-driven relevance and personalization that drives growth and enhances customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of senior software developers (6-10 people) to deliver innovative solutions for global commerce platforms
• Define and drive the technical vision for the Commerce platform, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle from planning to deployment, ensuring high-quality, scalable systems
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, UX designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Ensure platform scalability and performance as we expand globally
• Foster a culture of technical excellence through best practices in coding, testing, and DevOps
• Stay at the forefront of AI, e-commerce, and software development trends
• Manage team workflow, ensuring efficient resource allocation and project delivery

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8-10 years professional experience as a software developer with 3-5 years leading high-performing teams in SaaS environments
• Proven ability to drive technical initiatives from conception to completion with a “voice it, own it, do it” mindset
• Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and business domains
• Strong technical foundation with experience in cloud technologies (AWS, Kubernetes) and programming languages (Java, React, TypeScript)
• Deep understanding of data-intensive applications and analytics platforms
• Familiarity with commerce platforms, their data structures, and integration mechanisms is highly valued
