CrossnoKaye is a Series C climate tech startup helping heavy industry cut energy use by 40% on average using our ATLAS platform, an enterprise cloud system for industrial refrigeration control. We're making industrial facilities smarter, safer, and more efficient, contributing significantly to climate change solutions. We are growing fast and hiring for a Sr. Software Engineer to join our Platform team. This is a high-impact role focused on scaling our platform, improving existing features, and writing clean, performant code. You will be instrumental in evolving our cloud-native microservices architecture that powers the ATLAS platform, which includes applications for monitoring, control, optimization (like Energy AI), and data visualization for large industrial facilities. Responsibilities: * Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software for the ATLAS platform. * Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. * Focus on scaling systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation, and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity. * Contribute to the core infrastructure and services that underpin our customer-facing applications. Technical Skills Required: * Deep experience with Go (Golang). * Proven track record of building, deploying, and scaling cloud-native microservices. * Strong understanding of distributed systems principles. * Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure). Bonus Experience: * Experience with OpenTelemetry for observability. * Familiarity with the Goa framework. * Experience with industrial control systems, IoT, or time-series data. Ideal Candidate: We are looking for engineers passionate about using their software skills to combat climate change. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment, capable of taking ownership, and collaborating effectively within a team of software engineers, physicists, and refrigeration experts.
