About The Role: We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) to join our engineering team, where you will play a key role in building and scaling our frontend infrastructure. You will work on creating engaging and interactive user interfaces that help teachers and students participate in lessons. This is an exciting opportunity to significantly impact the scalability and reliability of our platform while mentoring other engineers.

What You’ll Do / Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of our frontend applications using modern JavaScript frameworks
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless user experiences
• Optimize application performance and scalability for millions of users
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers
• Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and best practices
• Work closely with product designers to implement intuitive and engaging user interfaces

What You’ll Bring / Requirements / Qualifications:

• Proven experience leading frontend projects (5+ years)
• Expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript
• Experience with state management, routing, and testing in frontend applications
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex technical challenges
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Deep understanding of web performance optimization techniques
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices
• Demonstrated ability to mentor other engineers and contribute to code quality
• Portfolio showcasing complex frontend projects and technical leadership
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
