Role: We are seeking a passionate Junior Backend Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to our mission. This role involves working on our data and backend systems, helping to build and maintain the infrastructure that powers our platform. The position is hybrid, based in either NYC or San Francisco.

Responsibilities:
*   Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and data pipelines.
*   Work with large datasets under the guidance of senior engineers.
*   Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and clinical experts.
*   Help ensure the scalability and reliability of our platform.
*   Learn and apply best practices in software development and data engineering.

Technical Skills:
*   Some experience or familiarity with Python and SQL (Postgres preferred).
*   Interest in cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and data processing tools (e.g., Beam, Spark, dbt, BigQuery).
*   Basic understanding of backend development principles.
