Role: We are seeking a passionate Mid-Level Backend Software Engineer to join our team and contribute significantly to our mission. This role involves designing, building, and owning components of our data and backend systems. The position is hybrid, based in either NYC or San Francisco.

Responsibilities:
*   Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain backend services and data pipelines.
*   Work effectively with large datasets, optimizing for performance and scalability.
*   Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (product, design, clinical) to define and implement features.
*   Take ownership of system components, ensuring their reliability and scalability.
*   Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team best practices.

Technical Skills:
*   Proven experience with Python and SQL (Postgres preferred).
*   Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
*   Hands-on experience with data processing tools like Beam, Spark, dbt, BigQuery, or similar technologies.
*   Solid understanding of backend architecture, APIs, and distributed systems.
