UI Engineer (Full Stack, Frontend Focus)

About Dialo: Dialo builds voice AI agents for customer service over the phone, processing hundreds of thousands of calls every day. We develop and self-host every component across speech-to-text, text-to-speech, LLMs, real-time audio processing, and VoIP. Our strategy centers on developing an open-source foundation and proprietary vertical-specific products on top of it. We’re profitable and based in Warsaw, Poland.

**About The Role:** Dialo is looking for a UI Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for building the user interfaces for our products, which are used by both customers and internal teams. As a full-stack role with a frontend focus, you will work on the entire stack but with a primary emphasis on creating intuitive and responsive user experiences.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and implement user interfaces for our customer dashboard and internal tools
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Build reusable frontend components and ensure they are accessible and performant
- Integrate frontend code with backend services and APIs
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Conduct user testing and implement feedback to improve UI/UX

**Required Skills and Ideal Candidate:**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (React)
- Experience with state management and RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of CSS preprocessors (Sass) and responsive design principles
- Familiarity with backend technologies (Node.js) and databases
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
