**About the Company:** We are a drone startup building cutting-edge software and hardware solutions. Our team comprises experienced engineers from top companies like Google, Amazon, F1 teams, Darktrace, and Helsing. We are mission-driven, focused on creating real-world impact and solving significant problems using technology. We value practical experience, personal projects, and a passion for problem-solving over theoretical exercises. **About the Role:** As a Product Engineer, you will work closely with Ben Butterworth (tlduck.com) and the engineering team to shape and deliver our drone software products. This includes low latency, multi-drone mission planning, flight monitoring, and control software, as well as tools for drone design and manufacturing. You will bridge the gap between user needs, product vision, and technical implementation. **Responsibilities:** * Define and prioritize product features based on user feedback, market analysis, and company strategy. * Collaborate with software (React, Python, etc.) and hardware teams to ensure product requirements are met. * Translate complex user requirements into actionable engineering tasks. * Focus on user experience and ensure the software is intuitive and effective for real-world drone operations. * Contribute to the overall product roadmap and strategy. **Ideal Candidate:** * Holds UNITED KINGDOM citizenship. * Based in or willing to relocate to London, UK (Hybrid: 2 days/week in office required). * Strong technical background, potentially with experience in our tech stack (React, Tailwind, Node, drizzle-orm, Postgres, SQLite, deck.gl, Python, FastAPI, asyncio, shadcn/ui, maplibre). * Experience in product management or a similar role, preferably in a software or hardware context. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * User-focused mindset with a passion for building impactful products. * Mission-driven and eager to contribute to solving real-world problems. * Experience with drones, robotics, or geospatial data is a plus. * Demonstrated ability through personal projects or relevant hobbies is highly valued.
