Senior PHP Full-stack Engineer

About Eleshop: Eleshop is a supplier of test, measurement, and soldering equipment run by engineers. We are a small company where you can make a real impact as a PHP programmer. If you deliver a new feature, it will be used 10 minutes later by your colleagues through CI/CD. We challenge you to write better code every day. We are looking for a Senior PHP Full-stack engineer to join our team, working with a code base that is easy to understand, well-maintained, and uses state-of-the-art technologies like PHP 8.4, InertiaJS, Vue 3, and AMQP with RabbitMQ. This is an opportunity to work on interesting projects and contribute to our technical roadmap.

Key Responsibilities: As a Senior PHP Full-stack engineer, you will:

• Lead the design and development of features for our webshop and internal tools
• Collaborate with our design and product teams to build user-friendly interfaces
• Optimize our codebase for performance and scalability
• Mentor junior developers and share your knowledge
• Drive the implementation of CI/CD pipelines and ensure high code quality
• Contribute to upcoming projects like replacing our legacy Magento webshop with Shopware and switching to AMQP for inter-service communications

Required Skills and Ideal Candidate: We are seeking someone with:

• Proven experience in PHP development, particularly with Laravel or Symfony
• Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks, including Vue 3 and InertiaJS
• Experience with state-of-the-art technologies like AMQP and RabbitMQ
• A track record of building scalable web applications
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience with Git, Composer, and modern development practices
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and mentor others

Compensation: The estimated pay range for this role is €70,000 - €90,000 annually. This role is eligible for additional company benefits.
