**About The Role:** As a Senior Back-End Engineer at Eleventh Hour Games, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the back-end services that power our online game. You will work with a fully remote team to design, implement, and optimize systems that support a wide range of game features, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for our players. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to driving best practices within the back-end team.

**Responsibilities:**
- Develop and maintain online game features such as in-game economy, leaderboards, and matchmaking.
- Diagnose and fix issues in live game services, including debugging and performance optimization.
- Deploy multiple backend services using modern deployment practices.
- Participate in a weekly on-call rotation for emergency service notifications.

**Qualifications:**
- 5+ years of experience developing or supporting online services, with at least 2 years in a gaming studio role.
- Demonstrable command of C# or similar programming languages.
- Experience with cloud providers, particularly Azure.
- Strong understanding of back-end service development for online games.

**Pluses:**
- Familiarity with multiplayer online games, especially ARPGs.
- Experience with Unity.
