Role: As a Staff Software Engineer at ESG Book, you'll be a technical leader, instrumental in architecting and building the scalable, high-performance software solutions that drive our mission. You will lead the design, development, and deployment of complex software applications, including sophisticated ETL tools, and critical data collection/analytics pipelines. You'll set technical direction for microservices architectures and guide the use of Kubernetes and Docker for containerisation and orchestration.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of scalable, high-performance applications using Go/Golang and Python.
- Architect, design, develop, and deploy robust, complex software solutions.
- Drive the evolution of custom ETL tools and data pipelines.
- Define and implement best practices for microservices architectures.
- Oversee the effective use of Kubernetes and Docker for cloud-native applications.
- Champion process improvements and shape system evolution.
- Mentor senior and junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
