AI Engineer

Join the AI/ML team at FinQuery, a leading FinTech company helping businesses manage lease accounting, financial contracts, and payments. We provide innovative contract and spend intelligence platforms used by over 8,000 organizations globally. FinQuery is based in Atlanta, GA, and supports fully remote employees within the US.

As an AI/ML Engineer, you will be a key member of our small, dedicated AI/ML team. You'll create services powered by Large Language Models (LLMs) and traditional Machine Learning (ML) techniques to enable new features across our suite of products. We focus on separating real value from hype (agents?), unlocking use cases that genuinely benefit our customers. This is a generalist Individual Contributor (IC) role involving work on both proof-of-concept projects and production-ready systems. Responsibilities include identifying valuable AI/ML applications, developing and deploying models, automating processes, and collaborating with product and engineering teams as we continue to enable new product features and use cases.

We are looking for someone with:
* A strong background in Machine Learning.
* 2+ years of relevant work experience (post-schooling).
* Experience with both developing proof-of-concepts and building/maintaining production ML systems.
* A desire to explore and apply the latest AI techniques (including LLMs) pragmatically.
* Proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., Python) and ML frameworks.
