Job Description: As a Full-stack Software Engineer at Floryn, you’ll be part of a dynamic team responsible for designing and building the software that powers their financial services platform. You’ll work in small project teams, collaborating closely with colleagues from various departments to develop new features for web, mobile, and backend applications. Your role will involve ensuring the quality and security of Floryn’s codebases, which are built on modern, open-source technologies. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Ruby on Rails, React, and React Native
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Ensure the quality, security, and performance of Floryn’s software through rigorous testing and best practices
• Work with PostgreSQL databases, Docker containers, and AWS infrastructure
• Contribute to the technical vision and roadmap of Floryn’s platform
• Mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the team
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and apply them to Floryn’s technology stack

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a full-stack developer with a focus on both front-end and back-end technologies
• Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails or other modern web frameworks
• Experience with React and React Native for building responsive, user-friendly interfaces
• Solid understanding of database design and optimization with PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and containerization with Docker and AWS
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code with appropriate testing
• Experience working in agile development environments
• Portfolio demonstrating your technical skills and project contributions

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with financial systems or fintech applications
• Knowledge of security best practices for financial software
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform)
