**Role Overview:**
We are looking for a Triage Software Engineer to join our team. This critical role involves investigating, diagnosing, prioritizing, and resolving issues reported by customers or internal monitoring systems across the Fluency platform. You will work closely with support, product, and engineering teams to ensure platform stability and rapid response to problems.

**Responsibilities:**
*   Act as the first line of engineering defense for production issues.
*   Investigate and diagnose complex technical problems reported via support tickets or alerts, potentially spanning frontend, backend, and infrastructure components.
*   Identify root causes of bugs and performance bottlenecks.
*   Develop and implement fixes for identified issues, prioritizing based on impact and severity.
*   Collaborate with Customer Support to communicate status updates and resolutions.
*   Work with QA and other engineers to ensure fixes are robust and well-tested.
*   Improve monitoring, alerting, and diagnostic tools to proactively identify and address issues.
*   Contribute to documentation and knowledge base regarding common issues and solutions.

**Technical Skills Required:**
*   Solid software development experience, preferably with Java and Spring Boot.
*   Experience with relational databases, particularly MySQL/RDS.
*   Familiarity with front-end technologies (JavaScript, Vue.js) is helpful for diagnosing UI-related issues.
*   Understanding of cloud platforms, specifically AWS (Elastic Beanstalk, S3, RDS, CloudWatch).
*   Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
*   Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.
*   Ability to read and understand complex codebases quickly.
*   Scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) are a plus.

*   Proven experience in a Triage, Production Support, SRE, or Backend Engineering role.
*   Excellent problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to debugging.
*   Ability to work under pressure and prioritize effectively.
*   Strong communication skills, capable of explaining technical issues clearly.
*   Broad technical curiosity and willingness to learn different parts of the stack.
*   Comfortable working in a remote, collaborative environment.
