Role Overview: As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Fold, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing cutting-edge user interfaces for our mobile applications. You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to create intuitive, high-performance experiences that millions of users interact with daily.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement new features for our React Native mobile applications
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Ensure optimal performance, responsiveness, and scalability of user interfaces
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs to ensure application stability
• Stay at the forefront of frontend technologies and best practices

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience
• Mastery of React Native for cross-platform mobile development
• Proficiency in TypeScript for type-safe application development
• Deep understanding of state management with Redux
• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library
• Strong grasp of JavaScript fundamentals and modern ES6+ features
• Excellent problem-solving skills and debugging capabilities
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git Actions
• Mobile app deployment expertise (App Store, Play Store)

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with analytics tools like Firebase or Datadog
• Familiarity with Bitcoin technology and applications
• Passion for cryptocurrency and financial innovation
