Company: FoodFacts is a B2B startup based in Stockholm, Sweden, specializing in CO2 calculations for the food industry. We partner with all Swedish food retailers and numerous producers to promote climate-friendly food choices and sustainable product development. We currently operate in Sweden with plans for European expansion.

Role: We are looking for a driven, entrepreneurial Staff Engineer to join our founding team. In this senior technical role, you will bring significant experience to bear on building our product and systems from 0 to 1. You will have an outsized impact on product & tech strategy and execution within our small startup environment.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex full-stack features using Typescript (Node.js backend, React frontend).
- Architect and manage scalable infrastructure on AWS and Vercel.
- Oversee database design and performance (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Mentor other engineers and establish technical best practices.
- Collaborate directly with customers, end-users, and leadership to define technical solutions.
- Influence the direction of technology and product strategy, navigating ambiguity effectively.

Technical Skills:
- Deep expertise in full-stack development with Typescript, Node.js, and React.
- Proven experience architecting and operating systems on cloud platforms (AWS, Vercel).
- Strong command of relational databases (Postgres, MySQL), including schema design and optimization.
- Experience leading technical projects and making high-level design decisions.
