**About The Role:** As a Solution Engineer at Formance, you'll be instrumental in helping customers implement our financial infrastructure solutions. You'll work closely with prospects and clients to design, implement, and support solutions built on our ledgering, reconciliation, and accounting systems. This position blends technical problem-solving with customer success, making it ideal for individuals who thrive at the intersection of code and communication.

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Design and implement financial solutions tailored to customer requirements using our open-source infrastructure
* Collaborate with engineering teams to understand product capabilities and limitations
* Translate technical specifications into clear, actionable plans for implementation
* Conduct technical demonstrations and presentations for prospects and clients
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during implementation and support phases
* Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in financial infrastructure
* Contribute to our open-source community by sharing insights and best practices
* Work with customers to customize and extend our platform for their specific use cases
* Document implementation processes and customer success stories

**Required Skills & Qualifications:**
* Proven ability to understand and implement complex technical solutions
* Strong foundation in software development principles and practices
* Experience with financial systems or infrastructure (even if not directly in fintech)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a talent for translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
* Problem-solving mindset with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues
* Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
* Familiarity with open-source technologies and development workflows
* Experience in solution selling or technical consulting preferred
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams

**Compensation:** We offer competitive compensation above €80K (equivalent to approximately $88K USD based on current exchange rates) with equity opportunities for key hires. The exact salary will depend on experience and qualifications.
