Principal Research Scientist, Physical AI

Foxglove is the leading observability stack for robotics and physical AI. We are seeking a Principal Research Scientist to join our team and lead research in Physical AI. This role will focus on advancing the state-of-the-art in AI for physical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, robotics, and AI. They will work closely with our engineering teams to translate research into practical applications.

Key responsibilities include:
- Leading research initiatives in physical AI and robotics
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement research findings
- Mentoring junior researchers and engineers
- Publishing and presenting research findings at conferences

Requirements:
- Ph.D. in AI, Robotics, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in AI research
- Strong publication record in top AI conferences
- Experience with robotics systems and physical AI applications
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
