Computer Vision Engineer

**About Duranta:** Duranta builds software to help landscapers design, sell, and maintain beautiful and ecologically friendly spaces. With millions of acres being converted into urban areas each year, our mission is to create sustainable and aesthetically pleasing environments. We are a well-funded startup founded a year ago and spent the last nine months developing an MVP and validating the market. Now, we're expanding our team and seeking a Computer Vision Engineer to complement our growing team.

**Role:** As the second Computer Vision/ML engineer, you'll work closely with founders and our CV/ML advisor to shape the architecture and make a significant impact on our product trajectory. You'll have the opportunity to influence the CV/ML strategy and contribute to critical product features.

**Responsibilities:**
*   Design, implement, and deploy computer vision solutions using Python, PyTorch, and Mask2Former.
*   Collaborate with founders and advisors to define and execute on the CV/ML roadmap.
*   Optimize and maintain ML models for performance and scalability.
*   Integrate CV features into our core product stack running on AWS.
*   Mentor other engineers on ML best practices.

**Requirements:**
*   Proven experience in computer vision or machine learning.
*   Strong Python programming skills and experience with PyTorch.
*   Familiarity with Mask2Former or similar state-of-the-art models.
*   Experience deploying ML models to production environments (AWS).
*   Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
