**About the Role: Senior Backend Engineer**

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our team and contribute to the core infrastructure powering Gigs' mobile services platform. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend systems and APIs.

**Responsibilities:**
* Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services and APIs.
* Work with databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
* Collaborate with front-end engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver new features.
* Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
* Optimize system performance and ensure reliability and scalability.
* Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.

**Requirements:**
* Proven experience as a Backend Engineer or similar role.
* Strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (e.g., Go, Python, Java, Node.js).
* Deep understanding of database design, optimization, and operation (SQL/NoSQL).
* Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
