**The Role:**
We are looking for talented Backend Product Engineers to join our growing team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the server-side logic, APIs, and databases that power the Granola application. You'll work closely with frontend engineers, AI engineers, and designers to deliver features that provide real value to our users. This involves working with our core stack (TypeScript, AWS) and integrating various LLM technologies.

**Responsibilities:**
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services and APIs.
- Work with databases and ensure data integrity and performance.
- Collaborate with the team to integrate AI/LLM features into the product.
- Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and help shape our backend infrastructure on AWS.

**Ideal Candidate:**
- Strong proficiency in backend development, particularly with TypeScript/Node.js.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL/NoSQL).
- Experience building and consuming APIs.
- Interest in AI/LLM technologies is a plus.
- Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and enjoys collaborative problem-solving.
- Passionate about building high-quality products that users love.
- Based in or willing to relocate to London, UK (On-site role with flexibility).
