**The Role:**
We are seeking an experienced Windows Engineer on a contract basis to develop the Granola application for the Windows platform. You will be responsible for bringing the core Granola functionality and user experience to Windows users, likely working with native Windows development technologies. You'll collaborate with our core engineering and design teams to ensure platform consistency where appropriate, while leveraging the best of the Windows ecosystem.

**Responsibilities:**
- Design, develop, and maintain the Granola application for the Windows platform.
- Ensure the application is performant, stable, and provides a great user experience on Windows.
- Collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs.
- Work with designers to implement the UI according to specifications.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues specific to the Windows environment.
- Potentially explore different Windows development frameworks (e.g., WPF, WinUI, .NET MAUI).

**Ideal Candidate:**
- Strong experience in native Windows application development (e.g., C#, .NET, WPF, WinUI).
- Familiarity with Windows APIs and the Windows development ecosystem.
- Experience integrating with RESTful APIs.
- Ability to work independently and manage project priorities.
- Good understanding of UI/UX principles on the Windows platform.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Available for a contract position, based in London, UK (On-site preferred, potential for flexibility).
