**The Role:**
We are looking for a talented AI Engineer to join our team and push the boundaries of what's possible with AI in the context of meeting notes and knowledge management. You will work on integrating, fine-tuning, and potentially developing novel approaches using various LLM technologies to enhance meeting summaries, enable powerful querying ("chat with the transcript"), and generate valuable insights from meeting data.

**Responsibilities:**
- Research, experiment with, and implement state-of-the-art AI/ML models, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs), for text summarization, information extraction, question answering, and related NLP tasks.
- Integrate third-party LLM APIs and potentially build/fine-tune custom models.
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to deploy AI features into the Granola application.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure for training, evaluating, and deploying AI models (potentially on AWS).
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in the AI/ML field and identify opportunities for Granola.
- Analyze model performance and iterate to improve accuracy, efficiency, and user experience.

**Ideal Candidate:**
- Strong background in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
- Hands-on experience with LLMs (e.g., GPT series, Claude, Llama) and related frameworks/libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face).
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI/ML, such as Python.
- Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) for ML workloads.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles.
- Ability to translate complex AI concepts into practical product features.
- Passionate about applying AI to solve real-world user problems.
- Based in or willing to relocate to London, UK (On-site role with flexibility).
