Full-Stack Engineer

Join HelloData as our sixth engineer in a fast-growing PropTech startup powering market surveys and pricing intelligence for multifamily properties across the U.S. We’re building the leading public data platform for property owners, managers, developers, and brokers—processing millions of data points daily to deliver actionable insights.

As a Full-Stack Engineer at HelloData, you’ll shape our technical architecture using our Node.js/TypeScript/Vue.js stack while collaborating with a team of experienced engineers. You’ll work across the entire product lifecycle—from data ingestion pipelines to user-facing dashboards—ensuring scalability and performance as we grow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement features for our market data platform
• Optimize data processing pipelines and API endpoints
• Collaborate with product managers to define requirements
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews
• Ensure system reliability and performance under load
• Explore new technologies to enhance our platform capabilities

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in startup environments
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks
• Strong understanding of database interactions and optimization
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP preferred)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and bias for action
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with data visualization tools
• Familiarity with real estate or PropTech domain
• Contributions to open-source projects
• Experience with TypeScript

Compensation: $125K base + health/dental benefits. This role is eligible for equity participation in our seed round. We offer a remote-first work environment with flexible hours, but US time zone preference may apply for certain features. Competitive bonus potential based on performance.
