Software Engineer

HelloPrenup is a leading legal technology company that provides an online platform for couples to create comprehensive, state-specific prenuptial agreements. We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and maintaining our platform, which helps couples create legally binding prenups. You will work directly with customers to drive impact and take ownership of delivering end-to-end features on our platform.

Our tech stack includes TypeScript, React, Node.js (Hono), and PostgreSQL, all running on a Serverless AWS architecture. We are looking for someone with expertise in these technologies and a passion for building user-friendly, scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement new features and improvements to our platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and customer support, to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using TypeScript and Node.js
• Ensure the quality and reliability of our applications through testing and debugging
• Optimize application performance and scalability
• Work directly with customers to gather feedback and implement enhancements

Required Skills and Ideal Candidate:

• Proficiency in TypeScript, React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL
• Experience with serverless architectures, particularly AWS
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
• Experience in building and maintaining web applications

We offer competitive compensation, including a base salary of $90,000 to $130,000, plus equity. We also provide comprehensive health insurance coverage and a 401k plan. Our fully remote work environment allows you to work from anywhere in the United States, with flexible hours to accommodate different time zones.
