Software Engineer

HelloPrenup is revolutionizing the prenuptial agreement industry by providing a user-friendly, affordable, and efficient platform for couples to create state-specific notarized prenups. We are a fully remote company with a team across the United States, dedicated to making the prenup process accessible and stress-free. Our mission is to help every couple get on the same page before marriage, disrupting an archaic industry in the law space. We are seeking a capable Software Engineer to work on our growing engineering team. You’ll work directly with customers and our stakeholders to drive impact, as well as take ownership of the delivery of end-to-end features on our platform.

We’re looking for someone with TypeScript, React, Node, and PostgreSQL skills to help lead implementation and drive innovation who also cares deeply about the customer and user experience.

Our tech stack: TypeScript, React, Node (Hono), PostgreSQL. All on Serverless AWS.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain our platform using TypeScript, React, Node, and PostgreSQL
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and legal experts to define and implement new features
• Work directly with customers to understand their needs and improve the user experience
• Write clean, maintainable code that adheres to our architectural standards
• Optimize application performance and scalability to handle increasing user loads
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to our engineering best practices

Requirements:

• Proven experience with TypeScript, React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL
• Experience with AWS and serverless architecture
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
