Machine Learning Engineer

Hestus is seeking a versatile Machine Learning Engineer to help us scale our AI-powered CAD tools. We are building cutting-edge design workflows powered by custom ML models that transform hardware development. This role sits at the intersection of mechanical engineering and artificial intelligence, requiring both technical expertise and creative problem-solving. You will develop, deploy, and prototype tools that make complex design work simpler and faster, directly impacting our product roadmap and customer value proposition.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to enhance our CAD tools
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to understand design requirements and translate them into AI solutions
- Prototype innovative features that leverage AI to automate complex design tasks
- Optimize ML models for performance, accuracy, and integration within our design workflow
- Contribute to the technical direction of our AI/ML infrastructure

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in machine learning with Python
- Strong background in developing and deploying production ML models
- Experience with CAD or design tools is highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on practical applications
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment

We offer a competitive salary range of $130,000 - $170,000 plus equity opportunities.
