**About The Role:** We are seeking a Software Engineer III to join our development team. In this role, you will work on maintaining and optimizing our cloud-based platform, which powers personalized digital marketing and sales enablement for our clients. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining efficient, scalable, and secure backend code using Laravel and Node.js, ensuring high performance and reliability to meet our SOC 2 Type 2 Certification standards.

**What You'll Do / Responsibilities:** 
- Develop and maintain efficient, scalable, and secure backend code with Node.js, PHP/Laravel
- Collaborate with UI, Project Manager, QA, and Design and communicate status per Jira and Bitbucket and iFOLIO's dev processes
- Ensure high quality of code and application scale and performance to meet SLA's and iFOLIO's SOC 2 Type 2 Certification
- Troubleshoot, test, and debug applications to ensure optimal performance
- Work with containerization and microservices architecture
- Contribute to code reviews and follow best practices for secure development
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends

**What We're Looking For:**
- Strong knowledge and experience in PHP and Node.js development
- Proficient in Laravel framework and its ecosystem
- Experience working with Sendgrid for large email campaigns and Twilio for large text message campaigns
- Proficient in Laravel framework and its ecosystem
- Experience with relational databases like MySQL and ORM (Object Relational Mapping) frameworks like Eloquent, as well as document stores like MongoDB
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience in scaling backend services
- Integrity and trustworthiness / strong work ethic
- Excellent communication skills to articulate dev progress and roadmap to executives
