* Team Management and Development: Lead and mentor software engineers, fostering technical excellence and innovation. Conduct regular 1:1s, support career development. Coordinate hiring and training.
* Project Management: Plan and manage project execution (timely delivery, budget). Utilize agile methodologies (monitoring, stand-ups, sprint planning). Collaborate cross-functionally (product, finance, compliance).
* Stakeholder Communication: Report status, risks, and opportunities to senior management. Gather feedback for platform improvement. Represent the team in inter-departmental meetings.
* Quality Assurance and Risk Management: Ensure high-quality coding/documentation standards. Oversee robust testing strategies. Collaborate with security on vulnerabilities and compliance.
* Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Encourage innovation, experimentation, and learning. Stay informed on industry trends. Lead efforts in streamlining processes and implementing best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

* Experience leading the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems.
* Strong background in developing financial platforms, preferably with experience working with operations teams.
* Proven experience in leading engineering teams, ideally with a focus on platform engineering, integrations, or automation.
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science.
* Excellent project management and communication skills.
* Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
* Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.

Ideal Candidate:
You think like an owner. You care about clean code and customer impact. You’re all-in on building the future of fintech—and take pride in building clean, scalable systems without losing momentum. You’re as passionate about shaping team culture as you are about enabling great engineering work.
