Role Description:
We are looking for a Data Scientist to develop and deploy machine learning models that are core to our energy forecasting and grid optimization capabilities. You will work with large, complex datasets to extract insights, build predictive models, and contribute directly to the intelligence of our platform.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, train, and deploy machine learning models for time-series forecasting, optimization, and anomaly detection.
- Analyze large datasets related to energy consumption, generation, and grid operations.
- Design and implement data pipelines for model training and evaluation.
- Collaborate with engineers to integrate models into production systems.
- Communicate complex findings and model results clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and data science relevant to the energy sector.

Technical Skills Required:
- 3+ years of experience working as a Data Scientist or in a similar quantitative role.
- Strong proficiency in Python and its data science ecosystem (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch).
- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and experimental design.
- Proficient in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
- Experience deploying machine learning models into production environments (familiarity with MLOps practices is a plus).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).

Ideal Candidate:
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Passion for applying data science to solve real-world problems, particularly in sustainability and energy.
