Lead .NET Backend Engineer - Core Technology Team

As a Lead .NET Backend Engineer in our Core Technology Team at iScribeHealth, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining the fundamental infrastructure that powers our AI-driven healthcare solutions. You’ll be responsible for building the core components of our platform, ensuring they are efficient, reliable, and scalable to handle large volumes of medical data.

This full-time, hybrid position requires you to be based in either Nashville, TN or Atlanta, GA. In this role, you’ll not only contribute to technical design but also mentor your team members, driving innovation in backend technologies.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing the foundational backend services for our AI platform
• Leading architectural decisions for core components that impact the entire organization
• Collaborating with data scientists and AI engineers to integrate machine learning capabilities
• Ensuring system reliability, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations
• Mentoring junior engineers and fostering technical growth within the team
• Working with product stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize development

We’re seeking a leader with:

• Extensive experience in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET Core)
• Strong background in building scalable, high-performance backend systems
• Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with modern database technologies (SQL Server, Cosmos DB)
• Understanding of healthcare data standards and security compliance requirements
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Passion for healthcare technology and its impact on patient care
