Network Automation Engineer, Security

**About The Role:** We are looking for an experienced Network Automation Engineer to help our Network Security team run, scale, and continuously improve our network security infrastructure through hands-on operations, testing, and automation.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Proactively identify opportunities to reduce manual toil in network operations
- Develop and implement automation for network security processes
- Design and build monitoring tools for network security
- Interface with application owners and traders to enable secure business workflows
- Contribute to in-house configuration and policy management tooling
- Evaluate and test new platforms for network security infrastructure
- Set priorities and timelines for DevOps projects
- Implement, document, and support software solutions for network security

**Required Skills and Ideal Candidate:**
- 10+ years of experience in an engineering environment
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP stack and networking protocols
- Experience with routing technologies such as BGP, OSPF, PIM-SM
- Troubleshooting experience with transport protocols (TCP/UDP)
- Proficiency in programming languages for automation
- Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure and related technologies
- Knowledge of modern encryption techniques
- High capacity to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Clear communicator who can maintain high customer service
- Flexible and reliable team player who enjoys collaborative work
