**About The Role:** The Lead Software Engineer for the Suite Core team leads a cross-functional engineering squad responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining JustPark’s internal and client-facing applications. This is a "player-coach" role, combining hands-on software development with team leadership, architectural oversight, and ensuring high-quality solutions are delivered. The Suite Core team’s applications power millions of parking transactions globally across our Go-based microservices architecture. You will architect, develop, and iterate on core platform features while mentoring engineers and driving technical excellence.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Architect, develop, and iterate on core platform features
- Lead scoping, planning, deployment, and monitoring of engineering projects
- Manage and enhance platform security
- Maintain and improve technical documentation, development workflows, and CI/CD practices
- Drive innovation in development practices
- Stay current with development trends and emerging technologies
- Mentor and coach senior and junior engineers
- Identify and develop future technical leaders within the team
- Contribute to broader technology strategy and architectural decisions
- Build strong partnerships with Product Managers, QA, and UK engineering teams

**Requirements:**
- Proven track record of collaborative technical leadership
- 3–5 years experience managing software engineering teams
- 3–5 years professional experience with Golang (Node.js is a plus)
- 3–5 years professional experience with SQL and data layer design
- Extensive experience with cloud services (AWS or Google Cloud)
- Expertise in modern CI/CD workflows and tools (GitHub Actions, Codefresh, ArgoCD)
- Proficiency with tools like JIRA, GitHub, Confluence
- US-based, ideally within commuting distance of Dallas-Fort Worth
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Bonus: Experience with distributed systems, international scaling, parking/mobility industry
