Kadoa is a small, agile, fully remote team with an HQ in Zurich, Switzerland, passionate about crafting exceptional software products at the intersection of data and AI.

Role Overview: We are looking for a talented Frontend Developer/UX Designer who is either a 'designer who codes' or a 'developer who designs'. You'll thrive at the intersection of design and development, working on a product that tackles complex data challenges. If you want to iterate to greatness and work with data and AI, this role is for you. Please note: At this time, we can only hire in most European timezones for this role.

Responsibilities:
*   Design and prototype complex user flows: Think through, document, and create interactive prototypes for user journeys.
*   Implement frontend code: Develop responsive, accessible, and reusable components using React, Tailwind, and Next.js.
*   Ensure responsive design: Make UIs work seamlessly across different screen sizes.
*   Utilize component-based development: Build scalable pages using modular components.
*   Conduct user research: Regularly interview users, analyze feedback, and refine designs based on real-world insights.
*   Maintain and improve the in-house component library: Ensure consistency, usability, and efficiency in UI development.

Requirements & Ideal Candidate:
*   Excellent writing skills: Clear written communication is essential in our fully remote setup.
*   Attention to detail: Meticulousness in both design and code ('Typos don’t stand a chance').
*   Adaptability: Willingness to learn new tools as needed.
*   Product-driven mindset: Prioritize design and code decisions based on their impact on product success.
*   Ownership & initiative: Take responsibility for projects from start to finish, meet deadlines, and make tough calls when needed.
*   Experience with our tech stack (React, Tailwind, Next.js) is a plus.
*   A portfolio showcasing your design and/or frontend development work.
