Kaleidoscope is building the R&D operations platform for ambitious scientific teams, aiming to replace outdated tools like spreadsheets and PowerPoints with a modern platform that improves efficacy and efficiency in scientific research across various industries like drug development and climate tech.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to take a leading role in designing and building critical components of our platform. You'll tackle our most complex technical challenges, mentor other engineers, and help shape our technical direction in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of major features and architectural improvements.
- Solve complex technical problems related to scalability, data integrity, and scientific workflows.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to establishing best engineering practices.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Science, Design) to deliver high-impact solutions.
- Own significant parts of the codebase and ensure its quality and maintainability.
