Kingdom Quest is building a cutting-edge, real-world realtime immersive interactive gaming experience set to launch in Autumn 2025 in Austin, TX. We are seeking passionate individuals to join our team and help us 'Build the Kingdom'.

We are seeking an experienced Go Developer to build and maintain the scalable, high-performance backend systems powering our real-time interactive game.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy backend services and APIs using Go.
- Build systems capable of handling real-time data streams and interactions.
- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of backend infrastructure.
- Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and AI developers to integrate systems.
- Work with databases and other persistence layers.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-tested Go code.

Requirements:
- Proven professional experience developing with Go (Golang).
- Strong understanding of concurrency patterns in Go.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful or gRPC APIs.
- Familiarity with database technologies (SQL or NoSQL).
- Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.

Ideal Candidate:
- Experience with real-time communication protocols (e.g., WebSockets).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Interest in gaming, interactive experiences, or IoT.
- Ability to design and implement robust and scalable backend solutions.
