## About ko-br:

ko-br is a London-based robotics AI startup automating variable warehouse operations (palletizing, kitting) with AI-powered robots that handle real-world chaos (grip slips, conveyor jams, dust storms). Our no-code solution plugs into ABB/KUKA/UR arms, saving clients 85% on emergency calls.

We’re fighting the “3AM cobot meltdown” industrial hangover. Our robots learn from humans, adapt to chaos, and recover autonomously—no coding, no all-nighters. We believe in a future where machines adapt to us, not the other way around, automating drudgery and enhancing human potential. Read our manifesto: https://ko-br.com/manifesto

Our founder is an Ex-Amazon/Meta ML engineer with expertise in ML infrastructure, computer vision, distributed systems, and building Internet-scale ML pipelines. The team brings 40+ years of combined expertise in VR, ML, robotics, MLOps, data annotation, and cybersecurity.

## The Role: Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)

As CCO, you will be a key part of the leadership team, essentially operating as a co-founder with significant equity. You will co-lead the development and execution of our commercial strategy, establish and nurture strategic partnerships (including with major robotics providers like ABB and KUKA), and be responsible for building and scaling our revenue engine.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, comfortable navigating the ambiguities and rapid pace of an early-stage startup. You will be instrumental in defining our market positioning, go-to-market strategy, and building the sales and partnership functions from the ground up.

## Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement the overall commercial strategy in collaboration with the founding team.
* Build and lead the sales and business development functions.
* Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships with key players in the robotics, logistics, and manufacturing ecosystems (e.g., ABB, KUKA, system integrators, warehouse operators).
* Drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
* Establish and refine sales processes, pricing strategies, and customer engagement models.
* Represent ko-br at industry events and build brand awareness.
* Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to inform product development and strategy.
* Contribute to the overall company strategy and culture as part of the leadership team.

## Ideal Candidate Profile (You):

* Proven experience building and scaling sales engines, preferably within the robotics, AI, industrial technology, or SaaS sectors.
* Strong existing network of contacts within the logistics and/or manufacturing industries.
* Demonstrated success in developing and closing complex B2B deals.
* Experience building and managing strategic partnerships.
* Thrives in the dynamic, fast-paced, and often chaotic environment of an early-stage startup.
* Passionate about the potential of AI and robotics to improve work and aligns with our mission to turn warehouse workers into robot mentors.
* Entrepreneurial mindset, results-oriented, and highly autonomous.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

## Why Join ko-br?

* Opportunity to shape the commercial future of a cutting-edge AI robotics startup from the ground floor.
* Co-founder level role with significant equity participation.
* Work alongside experienced founders and a talented technical team.
* Address a major pain point in a large and growing market (warehouse automation).
* Be part of a mission-driven company aiming to build technology that respects and empowers humans.
* Join the "Collaborative Rebellion" to automate drudgery, not creativity.
