Langfuse (YC W23) is building the leading open-source LLM engineering platform (GitHub: https://github.com/langfuse/langfuse/). We provide LLMOps tooling including observability, evaluations, prompt management, and more, helping sophisticated development teams build better AI applications. We are a Y Combinator-backed company (Seed: $4M from Lightspeed, General Catalyst) based in Berlin, working in-person (4-5 days/week). As a Design Engineer, you are a design-minded frontend engineer passionate about building beautiful, functional, and user-friendly interfaces. You will own the UI/UX of the Langfuse application, directly impacting how thousands of teams build their LLM applications. Responsibilities include designing and implementing user interfaces, collaborating with product and backend engineers, and ensuring a high-quality, intuitive user experience. We seek individuals with a strong eye for design, excellent frontend engineering skills (likely React/TypeScript), and a desire to create exceptional developer tools in an open-source environment.
