Role: Full Stack Engineer

As an early Full Stack Engineer, you will play a critical role not just in building our product but also in shaping our engineering culture, practices, and standards. You'll work across the entire stack, from designing and implementing scalable backend services and APIs to building intuitive user interfaces using our white-labeled components or custom solutions. You will contribute significantly to scaling our systems, integrating with third-party services, data modeling, and developing AI-driven features to automate tedious accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
- Develop and implement frontend components and user experiences.
- Work extensively with data modeling and database design for financial data.
- Contribute to system architecture and scaling strategies to handle growing adoption.
- Collaborate closely with a small, high-throughput team and engage with customer feedback.
- Help establish engineering best practices, standards, and contribute to team growth.
- Go beyond excellent code to contribute to the overall company culture and direction.

Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer in a dynamic environment.
- Strong proficiency in both backend and frontend technologies (adaptability is crucial).
- Experience with API design, data modeling, and building scalable systems.
- Demonstrates a high trajectory of learning and growth, embracing new responsibilities.
- Possesses the appetite and agency to contribute beyond coding (culture, practices, strategy).
- Passionate about solving real-world problems for SMBs and driven by customer success.
