About Layer Health: Layer Health is revolutionizing healthcare through AI-powered chart review solutions. We’ve raised a $21M Series A and are building an enterprise LLM platform to flexibly power any use case requiring medical record analysis.

About The Role: We are seeking a Fullstack Engineer to join our engineering team. This role requires a minimum of 6 years of experience and will involve building and maintaining our scalable platform that processes complex medical records. You’ll work on critical features that enable our AI-powered chart review capabilities across healthcare systems and research organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React, TypeScript, and Python
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to implement user-friendly interfaces
• Optimize application performance and ensure high availability
• Work with our cloud infrastructure team to deploy and scale applications on GCP
• Contribute to our engineering-first culture by writing clean, maintainable code
• Partner with data scientists to implement and refine our AI models

Required Skills:

• Minimum 6 years of professional software engineering experience
• Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Python
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly GCP
• Strong understanding of web technologies and REST APIs
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with healthcare or medical data processing is highly preferred

Compensation: Competitive base salary + equity package
