    **About The Role:** LiveKit is building the modern, open platform for real-time audio and video. Developers use our SDKs and APIs to add interactive voice, video, and live media features into their apps. We're used in healthcare, fitness, virtual events, customer support, gaming, and more — anywhere people collaborate or connect live online. We are looking for a talented engineer to join the Agent Hosting team to develop the core platform for hosting agents.     **Key Responsibilities:**
    *   Develop the core platform for hosting agents.
    *   Build resilient systems to deploy agents across global data centers.
    *   Create end-to-end tooling for seamless management of hosted agents.
    *   Optimize the performance and scalability of hosting infrastructure.
    *   Collaborate with security teams to ensure the safety and reliability of hosted agents.

    **Required Skills and Experience:**
    *   Skilled in containerization platforms (e.g., Docker, Firecracker).
    *   Well-versed in security challenges with executing untrusted code.
    *   Experienced in designing and maintaining distributed systems.
    *   Capable of digging into low-level details to solve complex problems.
    *   Proficiency in Go, Rust, and other systems programming languages.
    *   Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.) and container orchestration tools.
    *   Strong background in systems architecture and performance optimization.

    **Compensation:** The estimated pay range for this role is $120,000 - $250,000. This role is eligible to participate in LiveKit's equity plan.
