The small team (< 30) consists of serial founders, CTOs, designers, and competitive programmers who care deeply about building a great product and shipping fast.

**The Role:**

As a Generalist Engineer at Lovable, you will be a versatile member of the engineering team, tackling challenges across the stack. You'll work on everything from backend services in Golang to infrastructure in Rust and potentially frontend features in Next.js. You are comfortable context-switching and are eager to contribute wherever needed to help the team ship fast and build a robust product.

**Responsibilities:**

*   Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using Golang.
*   Contribute to infrastructure development and maintenance using Rust, AWS, Fly.io, and Firebase.
*   Collaborate with frontend engineers on API integrations and potentially contribute to the Next.js frontend.
*   Work on improving the core AI capabilities for software generation.
*   Troubleshoot issues across the stack and participate in on-call rotations if necessary.
*   Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment and maintenance.

**Ideal Candidate:**

*   Strong programming skills, ideally with experience in Golang and/or Rust. Experience with other backend languages is also valuable.
*   Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Fly.io) and databases (Firebase or others).
*   Comfortable working across different parts of the tech stack (backend, infra, potentially frontend).
*   A proactive problem-solver who enjoys tackling diverse technical challenges.
*   Ambitious, motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
*   Passionate about building great products and shipping quickly.
