The small team (< 30) consists of serial founders, CTOs, designers, and competitive programmers who care deeply about building a great product and shipping fast.

**The Role:**

As a Platform Engineer at Lovable, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the core infrastructure and platform that powers the Lovable AI and application. You will work heavily with Rust, Golang, AWS, Fly.io, and Firebase to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance. Your work will be crucial in supporting the rapid growth of the product and user base.

**Responsibilities:**

*   Design, build, and operate scalable and reliable infrastructure using Rust, AWS, and Fly.io.
*   Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and alerting systems.
*   Optimize system performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
*   Manage databases and backend services (Firebase, potentially others).
*   Collaborate with backend and AI engineers to ensure the platform meets their needs.
*   Implement security best practices across the infrastructure.
*   Contribute to architectural decisions for the platform.

**Ideal Candidate:**

*   Strong experience in platform or infrastructure engineering.
*   Proficiency in Rust and/or Golang.
*   Deep understanding of cloud platforms, particularly AWS and container orchestration (relevant to Fly.io).
*   Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi).
*   Experience with CI/CD, monitoring, and logging tools.
*   Knowledge of database management (NoSQL/SQL).
*   Focus on automation, scalability, and reliability.
*   Ambitious, motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
