Margins is building the killer app for books, aiming to be the primary resource for one billion book lovers. Launched on Christmas Eve, they quickly reached 100k users. They value craftsmanship and are creating an innovative experience around books, inspired by the idea that the 'margins' are where interaction and understanding happen.

We are seeking a talented iOS Design Engineer based in the Bay Area (San Francisco) to help win an Apple Design Award. This role focuses heavily on the intersection of design implementation and engineering, requiring a strong sense of craftsmanship and a passion for creating beautiful, intuitive, and highly polished user experiences on iOS. The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio showcasing excellent iOS applications with a focus on visual design and interaction, and a deep understanding of Apple's design principles (HIG). You will collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to implement and refine the user interface and user experience of the Margins app. Experience with Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit is essential. Familiarity with design tools is a plus.
