About Martin: Martin is an AI personal assistant that helps manage your calendar, inbox, to-dos, reminders, notes, messages, calls, and more. It is designed to be the most advanced AI personal assistant on the market, surpassing existing voice assistants. We are looking for a Founding AI Engineer to join our team in building the core AI capabilities.

Role Overview: As a Founding AI Engineer at Martin, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the machine learning models that power our AI assistant. You will work closely with the founders and product team to define the AI features and requirements. This is a founding role with significant equity compensation and the opportunity to have a major impact on the product.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement machine learning models for natural language understanding and task automation
• Collaborate with the product team to define AI features and requirements
• Optimize and scale the AI models for performance and reliability
• Research and integrate cutting-edge AI techniques into the product
• Work with the engineering team to deploy and maintain the AI systems
• Ensure the AI capabilities meet user expectations and business goals

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering
• Proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Strong background in NLP and machine learning
• Experience building conversational AI or task automation systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
