Matcha aims to make landing dream jobs fun again by addressing the frustrations of job hunting through automation. We aggregate top jobs, use AI to analyze descriptions and rank fit, generate AI cover letters, and help candidates stay organized. We're building tools to put candidates in the driver's seat.

We are seeking a talented Frontend Engineer to join our remote team (US, CA, EU). You will be responsible for building and maintaining the user-facing components of our platform, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for job seekers. You'll work closely with design and backend teams to implement new features and improve existing ones using our modern tech stack.

Responsibilities:

Develop responsive and performant user interfaces using React.js and Next.js.
Collaborate with designers to translate mockups into functional web components.
Integrate with backend APIs (Node.js, Supabase).
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested Javascript code.
Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies.

Technical Skills:

Strong proficiency in Javascript, React.js, Next.js, HTML, CSS.
Experience with state management libraries.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and backend integration (Node.js, Supabase is a plus).
Understanding of web performance optimization and browser compatibility.
