Matcha aims to make landing dream jobs fun again by addressing the frustrations of job hunting through automation. We aggregate top jobs, use AI to analyze descriptions and rank fit, generate AI cover letters, and help candidates stay organized. We're building tools to put candidates in the driver's seat.

We are seeking a versatile Full-stack Engineer to join our remote team (US, CA, EU). You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both the frontend and backend components of our platform. You'll play a key role in building robust features that automate and simplify the job search process using our modern tech stack.

Responsibilities:

Develop user-facing features using React.js and Next.js.
Design and implement backend services and APIs using Node.js.
Manage and interact with our database (Supabase).
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested Javascript code across the stack.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and product managers.

Technical Skills:

Strong proficiency in Javascript, React.js, Next.js, Node.js.
Experience with database technologies, particularly Supabase or similar PostgreSQL-based solutions.
Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
Familiarity with frontend build processes and tools.
Experience with cloud platforms and deployment is a plus.
