**About The Role:** We are seeking a Founding Engineer to join our seed-stage venture. This is a unique opportunity to be a key architect and builder in a small, agile team. You will have the chance to shape the technical direction of our product, from the ground up. The role involves deep technical work, strategic decision-making, and close collaboration with the founders. We are looking for someone with a proven track record in building scalable systems, particularly in distributed computing and systems research.

**Key Responsibilities:** 
- Design and implement the core architecture of our platform, focusing on trust, permissioning, and authenticity.
- Lead the technical development of features related to tool discovery and agentic internet capabilities.
- Collaborate with the founders to define product requirements and technical specifications.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of our systems.
- Drive technical innovation and solve complex engineering challenges.
- Build and maintain systems that handle sensitive data and ensure user privacy.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:** 
- Extensive experience in distributed systems, networking, and systems research.
- Proven ability to design and build high-performance, scalable systems.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Go, C++, or Rust.
- Deep understanding of cryptography, security protocols, and data integrity mechanisms.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and containerization technologies (e.g., AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think abstractly and systemically.
- A passion for building foundational technologies that can transform the internet.

**Ideal Candidate:** 
The ideal candidate is a visionary engineer with a background in computer science and a demonstrated history of success in building complex systems. You should have a strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and system design. Experience in startups is a plus, as is a track record of handling ambiguity and driving projects from conception to completion.
