Software Engineer (Frontend)

What You’ll Do:

• Design and implement user interfaces using React and TypeScript to enable intuitive data exploration.
• Ship non-trivial apps with strong product sensibilities and good frontend skills.
• Write tests and provide clear feedback on code, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute product features.
• Contribute to open-source projects and stay at the forefront of frontend technologies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience shipping non-trivial apps using React + Redux or equivalent.
• Strong React and JavaScript knowledge to build fast and thoughtful user interfaces.
• Experience writing tests and giving good feedback on other people’s code.
• Excellent communication skills, especially for remote collaboration.
• Prior experience with data visualization libraries like dc.js and d3.js is a plus.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Contributions to open source projects.
• Familiarity with Clojure, our backend language.
• Experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript features.

Compensation: The estimated pay range for this role is $150,000 - $200,000.
