Role Overview: As a Senior Data Scientist at Mobian, you’ll lead the development and implementation of statistical models that measure the causal impact of digital advertising campaigns on business outcomes. You’ll design and execute rigorous experiments, integrate complex data pipelines, and translate findings into strategic recommendations for clients. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong communication skills to bridge the gap between data science and business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and validate advanced statistical models (including causal inference, uplift modeling, and time-series analysis) to measure campaign effectiveness
• Lead end-to-end data projects from conceptualization through implementation and deployment
• Integrate diverse data sources (offline sales, ad tracking, first-party data) using SQL, Python, and cloud data platforms
• Conduct A/B tests and experiment design to isolate campaign impact from confounding factors
• Develop proprietary metrics and dashboards to measure ROI and optimize client campaigns
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and sales teams to ensure models meet business requirements
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to team knowledge sharing

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field
• 6-10+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or econometrics
• Proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy, scipy) and SQL for data manipulation
• Strong foundation in causal inference methodologies (difference-in-differences, regression discontinuity, instrumental variables)
• Experience with statistical modeling in marketing attribution environments
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Exceptional communication skills to translate complex findings for non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift, BigQuery) is highly desirable
• Familiarity with experiment design and analysis in dynamic environments
